Mason's Dumpling Shop - Aurora
About This Spot
Stepping into Mason's Dumpling Shop in Aurora is like uncovering a cherished corner of Asian comfort food tucked away just off the bustling Montview Boulevard. The space hums with a casual, welcoming energy—a modest dining area where the rhythm is easygoing, yet the excitement comes from the kitchen, visible through open windows where chefs skillfully fold and prepare each dumpling. It’s the kind of spot where locals and newcomers alike pause to savor warmth, both on the plate and in the service.
The atmosphere here carries a gentle vibrancy, mixing modern touches with a homey feel that invites you to linger or grab a quick bite. The pace flows naturally, shaped by the simple pleasure of sharing good food rather than a rush or fuss. Friendly faces greet you with a quiet attentiveness, making the place feel less like a restaurant and more like a communal table where stories and flavors blend seamlessly.
As you settle in, the menu reveals a thoughtful balance between traditional favorites and the subtle surprises that make each bite memorable. Dumplings arrive with tender, well-seasoned fillings, whether gently boiled or satisfyingly pan-fried, accompanied by nuanced sauces that add complexity without overwhelming. Beyond the dumplings, bowls of stewed pork belly or Angus beef noodle soups offer deeper, slow-cooked richness—a comforting embrace on cooler days. Small sides, like fresh seaweed or crisp wood ear mushroom salads, provide refreshing contrasts, while the occasional sweet steam bun shapes a playful end to the meal.
Mason’s nurtures that intimate joy of discovery—finding a place where familiar flavors are carefully layered with the unexpected and served with genuine care. It’s a neighborhood retreat for anyone craving a moment of warmth, community, and the kind of food that feels like a quiet celebration of tradition and new memories.

This is pure Asian comfort food and it hit the spot. Friendly and quick service. You order through Toast Tab and then the server will bring it to you. We ordered way too much but it was fun to try everything. Stand outs: beef rice bowl, steamed dumplings and soup dumplings (however we weren’t sure if the soup dumplings are house made or bought….either way still delicious). When we packed food to go, they had all the condiments neatly packed in a spill proof bag which I thought was a really nice touch. Thanks!

Excellent dumplings! Very surprised to find this gem and will be coming back soon. The soup dumplings were very good. The staff was so nice and quick to respond. Parking was easy. It is a pretty small seating area but we went in the afternoon and had no issues.

One of the best dumpling and noodle restaurant in Colorado. Very affordable food with great portion. Service is good. Modern Fusion Asian restaurant vibe. Strongly recommend this restaurant for Asian comfort food. Boiled chive, pork, egg, and shrimp dumpling is my favorite. Side dishes such as bokchoi and lotus root are very delicious also. Dessert- panda and pork shaped buns are also great as they are not too sweet.

Friendly staff, cool vibes, I love that the kitchen is open and we can see the kitchen cheffing it up! I was recommended the lucky buddha beer very tasty light beer that is easy to go down 9/10 I ordered the chicken dumplings, and a side of rice. Dumplings were crispy and soft with the perfect melody of flavor exploding in your mouth. 10/10. Rice was not as sticky as I was hoping but was very tasty, especially with their 8/10 Will also add portion sizes were great I had 3 dumplings left I ate as a snack later Overall score 9/10 if it was like 2$ cheaper it would be a 10, good bang for your buck!

The best dumplings I've had in Colorado, and I've tried many. Flavorful and the xiaolongbao actually come with some ginger on the side which is much appreciated. The dipping sauce is 10/10 and so much better than just the simple soy/vinegar that most other places provide. Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back! Also their music playlist was early 2000s and I appreciated that!

Found this place randomly when looking for vegan options as there are not many in this state. And it did not disappoint. As someone from Chicago I’m hard to please when it comes to the food scene in the CO. But the vegan food options were great, fairly affordable, and I will definitely be back! I had vegan teriyaki beef bowl and vegan steamed dumplings

Had an amazing experience at Mason’s Dumpling Shop! The food was fast and delicious—especially recommend the noodle bowls and bok choy. The service was very friendly and made our family feel very welcome. The atmosphere was clean and inviting, and they graciously handled my daughter getting noodles everywhere. We even got Halloween candy at the end. Can’t wait to go back, one of our new go-to restaurants!

We've been wanting to try Mason's dumpling for a while now and finally had a chance to stop in. Our server Alejandra was very sweet and welcoming knowing it was our 1st time. We started with the scallion pancake and it was underwhelming, flavor was good but the texture was that of a frozen reheated one I could buy from the freezer section. We also got the pan fried chicken and soup dumplings. Both were pretty bland on their own so the sauce was definitely needed. Loved the black vinegar, soy and chili oil sauce.
